Acer Aspire 3050 is a great entry level personal laptop for everyday use. It comes with a AMD Mobile Sempron processor and 2 GB RAM which can further be expanded upto 4 GB ram. Acer Asipre uses ATI Radeon Xpress 1100 chipset to deliver the graphics. This Laptop only supports DDRII RAM and DDRIII will not be supported obviously.
Acer Aspire 3050 comes with a 14.1 display screen with a decent resolution of 1280 X 800 . Acer Aspire 3050 dispay is LCD and not LED so if you want an LED based screen, then this laptop might not be for you.
Acer Aspire 3050 has a small storage of only 40GB which is pretty low based on today's demand but you can always upgrade to 500 GB if needed.
